WELCOME!!   I'm Dr. Frank Dentremont, and I've ben practicing General Dentistry here in Alabama for the past 22 years.  Before that I worked in the state of Maine after receiving my dental degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine many moons ago.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE living on the Alabama Gulf Coast!  I think it's one of the most precious areas to reside in the United States.  The ambiance, the friendships,  and the fellowships I've created these past two decades have been truly a blessing to my family and I.  I've grown quite thankful to being called a "Damn Yankee" down here!!

TEN YEARS AGO I opened Dentremont Dental Services in Gulf Shores with the conviction that I could impart my skills and experience to the communities of Lower Alabama and make a difference to the oral health of this wonderful local population.  We started by working two days a week and gradually increased our services to full time dental services.

​

EVERYONE HERE on the Gulf Coast has been through the tough times of the worldwide Covid 19 Pandemic (both of my elderly parents succumbed to its deadly effects) and Hurricane Sally on September 16, 2020.  Still, my dedicated staff and I persevered in our business endeavor and we now service more than 3500 patients in the greater Gulf Shores area.

​ IN 2023 we made major improvements to our dental office in Gulf Shores: we added a new dental hygiene room and another dentist room, we added new dental equipment, and we added a new patient restroom.  We increased our staff accordingly as the area blossomed with new residents from far away.  It became apparent that our growth was outpacing our physical location.  It was either move from our current location or seek another location to expand our services.  Expansion was chosen to give our patients some flexibility in their commute to and from our office which honestly is located perfectly to find but can be challenging to drive to and from to in this increasingly busy Highway 59 traffic.  We needed to find somewhere near foley in order to continue to grow.

​

FOLEY HAS BECOME ONE OF THE FASTEST small cities in the country for population growth! It has grown 12% in just the last year! Check out this video below from WKRG Television in Mobile, AL:

IN LATE 2024 we purchased all the dental equipment and dental supplies of a nearby dental office in Foley as the former dentist had relocated.  We stored it locally until a proper location to open a second office in Foley could be located.

​

IN EARLY 2025 we identified a perfect location to move all the equipment and supplies that we had purchased - 100 Elecia Lane in Foley.  Elecia Lane is a side street directly off Peachtree Avenue which is actually County Rd 14 and across the street from Baldwin Health Hospital.  If you're going north on 59 it's immediately after the hospital at the Peachtree Ave light and directly before Hoods home improvement store.​​

​A lease for the facility was signed in late 

February and we began by performing some

much-needed renovations to the building.
